摘要：Disclosed is an eyeglass frame and method of assembling such a frame whichprovides for quick and easy assembly. The eyeglass frame includes a lens supportingstructure (12) and at least one temple (14, 14'). For each temple (14, 14') the lens
supporting structure (12) includes a temple receiving member (13) having a ramped slot(34', 36'). Each temple (14, 14') includes a means (16) for supporting a pin (28) so that thepin (28) extends beyond the surfaces of the temple (14, 14'). In assembling the frame, thepin (28) is aligned with slots (34', 36') in the temple receiving member (13) of the lenssupporting structure (12) and the temple (14, 14') is forced through these slots (34' 36')forcing the upper (34) and lower (36) walls of the temple receiving member (13) apartuntil the pin (28) is captured by a hole at the end of the ramped slots (34', 36').
