一、2006年真题解说
2006年考研英语写作分为A、B两部分。以下对这两部分分别加以介绍。
Part A
51. Directions:
You want to contribute to Project Hope by offering financial aid to
a child in a remote area. Write a letter to the department concerned,
asking them to help find a candidate. You should specify what kind of
child you want to help and how you will carry out your plan.
Write your letter in no less than 100 words. Write it neatly on
ANSWER SHEET 2.
Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter; use “Li Ming”
instead.
Do not write the address. (10 points)
在考研英语中这是第二次考查应用文写作模式仍是书信体。因此像
2005年一样考生在写作时应注意1.覆盖全部信息2.注意格式和语域3.
语言准确内容合理4.不要过多使用指令中的英语表达。今年的写作主题是
希望工程这是1995年和2001年考研作文中曾经两次涉及过的话题。一般考
生应觉得有内容发挥。不过今年的应用文指令部分比去年要难一些为方便
考生复习特将指令中关键的第一段翻译出来供考生参考
你打算资助边远地区的一个孩子为希望工程做点贡献。给有关单位写一封
信请他们帮助寻找一个候选的孩子。你应当详细说明你需要帮助的那个孩子
的情况以及你将如何实施你的资助计划。
根据以上要求考生在写作中应注意三个信息点 1.说明自己的想法和要
求 2.介绍孩子的情况3.如何实施资助计划。小作文命题看得出颇费心机
刻意考一种按常规难以归类的书信模式但不难写。同学们只要照指令的情景
和提纲部分扩展出100字就行。
Part B
52. Directions:
Study the following photos carefully and write an essay in which
you should
1. describe the photos briefly,
2. interpret the social phenomenon reflected by them, and
3. give your point of view.
You should write 160-200 words neatly on ANSWER SHEET 2. (20 points)
2006年短文写作还是图画作文。给了两幅画面一幅是一个人脸上刻着贝克
汉姆的名字另一幅是一个人花了300元剪了一个小贝的发型两幅图均透露
出社会上一些人崇拜偶像的现象让考生对这种现象做出评价很新鲜、灵
活。感觉以往的英语作文试题大多考传统型的很意外。
如孝敬父母毅力恒心等这次让人
考生在看到大作文的第一眼是感觉亲切而高兴觉得非常有趣很有东西
写。因为贝克汉姆对年轻人来说实在是太熟悉太有诱惑力了小贝的出场
无论对男生女生通常引起的都是狂热与奔放。但是此时要静下心来逻辑严
密、条理清晰、有条不紊地去论述一下偶像崇拜的问题很多考生马上又坐不
住板凳了。要么提笔忘字要么干脆无话可言再或者干巴巴说几句就再也不
能继续下去。其实文章探讨的主题应该是当今社会出现的年轻人对明星盲目
崇拜的现象。只要围绕这个主题写就行至于从哪个角度去讨论自己的具体
看法是什么那不是最重要的。关键是考生的文章观点要明确而清晰尤其
是词句的表达要流畅规范。
图画作文通常写法第一段揭示现象描述图画第二段发表自己对这个现
象的分析议论第三段针对该现象提出自己的看法或发出自己的倡导。可写性
很强。

I’m a teacher of Renmin University of China and I’d like to
contribute to Project Hope by offering financial aid to a child in a
remote part of your province. Therefore,I would be most grateful if
you could send me information regarding such a child who has met the
following requirements:
First,he must be very poor and truly in need of help. Second,he
must have the strong desire to improve things around him. Third, he
must be healthy, happy and optimistic. Last but not the least is that
he must be willing to return to his hometown to do something for it
after graduation from university.
I would send him money every year from this year on until he
finishes his higher education.Your prompt reply to this letter would
be highly appreciated. I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.

There are two pictures:The first is a photo of a man’s face on
which the name of the famous football player Beckham can be seen. In
the second picture we can see a man in a barbershop, his hair being
done in Beckham’s hair style, costing him 300 yuan.
