摘要：A structural system that is particularly useful for temporary exhibitions andtrade shows by which structures may be quickly and easily assembled, rearranged, anddisassembled by simple procedures requiring few or no tools, using a minimum numberof components having a high degree of interchangeability. Posts are provided eachhaving a series of preformed holes arranged along its sides with predetermined spacing,and panels are provided each having pairs of alignment pins symmetrically arranged onboth faces and adjacent both ends and also having an intermediate hole adjacent bothends thereof, whose longitudinal axes are perpendicular to the faces of each panel. Apanel is aligned with a post by inserting the alignment pins adjacent an end of said panelinto corresponding holes in the post, and the panel is secured to the post by inserting afastener through the hole in the panel and into locking engagement with acorresponding hole in the post. Angle brackets each having two faces disposed atpredetermined angles to each other are also provided by which panels may be mountedat predetermined angles to posts. One face of each such angle bracket comprises apanel mount adapted to be secured to panels, and another face of the angle bracketcomprises a post mount adapted to be secured to posts, each mount using the
alignment pin and connection means of the invention. The panels serve both a structuraland decorative function, and the structural system provides significant flexibility in thearrangement of structures which can be made from these components.
