摘要：An embedded system for calibrating and profiling colored media using aninkset, white ink and an online or offline printing device for printing. The system includesan embedded apparatus capable of generating, adapting, and printing the targetsrequired for calibrating and profiling. The printing involves generation of white ink dataand suitable separations for printing inkset for the target to be printed on the coloredmedia. A dual-acting device capable of acting as a plate making or film generating means
for offline printing, and as a print controller for online printing may be used. The printingdevice may be selected from an offset printing device or a screen printing device whenoffline printing and/or an inkjet printer or a laser printer when online printing.
