摘要：PURPOSE:To keep the amount of circulating oil stably without causing thesurplus nor deficiency and to achieve high yield of liquefied oil, by controlling the amountof hydrogen gas supplied to the reaction zone in the catalytic reaction of a coal-solventslurry with hydrogen gas under high temperature and pressure condition.
CONSTITUTION:Coal is liquefied by mixing coal, a liquefied coal oil and a catalyst andcontacting the obtained slurry with hydrogen gas in a high- temperature and pressurereaction zone 2 while controlling the feeding rate of the hydrogen gas. After thereaction, the slurry is separated in the separation zone 3 into a light oil, a circulation oilcontaining a fraction having higher boiling point than the light oil and a residue having aboiling point of >=540 deg.C. The obtained circulation oil is perferably hydrogenated andcirculated to the slurry-preparation zone 1 as a slurrying solvent.
