Unit 3  We’re soldiers.

教学目标：

1. 用“What are we/you?”询问职业， 及对该问题的回应“You/We’re…”。
2. What are we?

Yes, we are …/ No, we’re not….

3. 掌握词汇：guessing game, left, right, soldiers, traffic police, turn, turn, policemen

理解词汇：coin, teach, dance, learn, chalk, chick, chair, child, chopsticks, branch, church, catch

4、字母组合ch在单词中的发音。

教学重、难点：

1. 教学重点：用“What are we/you?”询问职业， 及对该问题的回应“You/We’re…”。

课时安排：

Period 1

一、教学目标

1. 能掌握left和right的用法，理解单词sailor, soldier, traffic police的含义；
2. 能运用已学的词汇询问他人职业；
3. 能掌握名词复数的基本变化规律。

二、教学重点及难点

重点：运用句型询问他人职业；对指令left和right做出快速回应。

难点：名词复数的规则变化。

三、教学准备

水手、士兵等的帽子头饰，Dino头饰，单词卡片，教学挂图，教学磁带等。

四、教学步骤

Step 1  Warming up

1. 师生问候。
2. 有节奏地说唱《学生用书》第二册第四单元的韵律诗。边唱边做动作。

One, two, three, four, five

Once I caught a fish alive.

Six, seven, eight, nine, ten

Then I let it go again.

Why did you let it go?

Because it bit my finger so.

Which finger did it bite?

The little finger on the right.

Step 2 Presentation and drill

游戏——Dragon game （接龙游戏）

分组进行比赛。从1数到10，看哪组数得最顺畅。

S1：One.

S2: One, two.

S3: One, two, three.

S4: One two, three, four.

……

在数字后加上名词（如flower, nose, finger, leg, head, toe, hand等）继续游戏。

S1：One flower /nose /finger /leg /head /hand /……

S2: Three flowers /noses /fingers /legs /heads/ hands……

1、选出说得最快最准的一组上讲台。出示单词卡片a teacher。

   S1: One teacher.

   S2: Two teachers.

   S3: Three teachers.

   S4: Four teachers.

   S5: Five teachers.

   接着出示单词卡片a cook, a farmer, a doctor, a soldier等。让学生反复练说。

2、出示帽子头饰。

   T：Look, What am I now?

   Ss: You are a sailor.

   换上士兵的帽子，引导学生说出soldier。

   出示有很多sailor和soldier的图片。

   T: What are they?

   Ss: They are sailors.

   T: What are they?

   Ss: They are soldiers.

   帮助学生回答。板书单词并带读。

游戏——Quick response（快速反应）

   选择6名学生上讲台，戴上帽子头饰，分成Soldiers和Sailors两组，站成直线。然后根据老师的命令，快速作出反应。看哪组反应得又快又准。多选择几组进行游戏。

   T: Ready go. Left, right. Left, right.

       Turn left. Turn right. Turn right. Turn right.

Step 3 Practice

1. 听课文A部分录音。
2. 分小组练习。

Step 4 Consolidation

游戏——A little actor （小演员）

让3位“小演员”戴上头饰，在教室外准备好。等老师与教室里的学生打完招呼，便喊着口令走起来。

S1-3: Left, right. Left, right.

S1: Stop. Turn left.

T: What are you? Are you soldiers?

S1-3: No, we’re not soldiers.

T: Are you sailors?

S1-3: Yes, We’re sailors.

T: Look at their hats. They are so cool. Could you give them to me, please.

S1-3: OK!

T: Thanks. Go back to your seat, please!

1. 评价。对学生的游戏进行评价，评出“最佳表演奖”。
2. 练习。
3. 家庭作业。邀请爸爸妈妈一起练习本课口令。

Period 2

1. 教学目标

1. 巩固所学的职业名称；
2. 能掌握名词复数形式的不规则变化；
3. 能听指令，做动作。

2. 教学重点及难点

重点：分辨左右，听懂指令。

难点：名词复数形式的不规则变化。

3. 教学准备

各种职业的帽饰、单词卡片、教学磁带等。

4. 教学步骤

Step 1 Warming up

师生问候。

游戏——Monkeys see, monkeys do（学学做做）

T：Boys and girls, stand up. Listen and follow me.

   Follow me, follow me.

   Hands up, hands up.

   Follow me, follow me.

   Hands down, hands down.

   Left, left. Right, right.

   Turn around, go, go, go.

   Stop, go. Stop go.

Step 2 Presentation and drill

选择游戏中做得较好的3位学生上台表演。

T: What are they? Can you guess? Are they policemen?

Ss: No, they aren’t.

T: You are right. They’re not policemen.

出示单词卡片policemen，板书单词，讲解该名词复数的不规则变化规律，引导学生找出更多类似的变化（如woman, policewoman, fireman, postman等）。带读。

T（对表演者说）: Are you policemen?

（耳语: You’re traffic police. 交警。）

S1-3: No, we’re not policemen.

T: Are you doctors?

S1-3: No, we’re not doctors.

鼓励学生用“Are you…?”提问。

Ss: Are you teachers?

S1-3: No, we’re not teachers.

T: Let’s do it again. Watch carefully. Stop. Go. Stop. Go. Turn right. Turn left. What are we? Guess, please.

Ss: …

帮助学生回答“We’re traffic police.”。

T: Are you traffic police?

S1-3: Yes, we’re traffic police.

板书单词traffic police，强调该词单、复数形式一样。带读。

Step 3 Practice

1. 听课文B部分录音，跟读。

游戏——Guess, guess, guess!（猜一猜）

以课文C部分为游戏内容，分角色表演。可以用其他物品代替硬币。

2. 听课文D部分小故事。教师解释单词teach, dance, learn，帮助学生理解故事大意。然后把故事中的情景表演出来。

Step 4 Consolidation

1. 创设情景，自由会话。

情景：20年后，同学们回到母校。聚会中，大家一起交流工作和生活的情况。

2. 评价。
3. 练习。
4. 家庭作业。

Period 3

一、教学目标

1、能掌握字母组合ch在单词中的发音，能理解新单词；

2、会读由含有字母组合ch的单词组成的句子；

3. 能掌握单词left和right的书写句子；
4. 能表演唱课文F部分童谣，感受学习英语的乐趣。

二、教学重点及难点

重点：字母组合ch在单词中的发音；童谣。

难点：理解新单词，朗读句子。

三、教学准备

四线三格小黑板、单词卡片、教学磁带等。

四、教学步骤

Step 1 Warming up

1. 师生问候。
2. 听课文F部分童谣。

Step 2 Presentation and drill

游戏——Making friends （找朋友）

将上一单元含有字母组合br与本单元含有字母组合ch的单词卡片打乱顺序，反面朝上拿在手中让学生抽取。抽到含有相同字母组合单词卡片的为“好朋友”。双脚说“好朋友”名字（即读出该单词）可获得奖励。

1. 听课文E部分字母组合、单词和句子，理解句子大意。
2. 示范单词left和right的书写，让学生们边读单词边书空。然后让学生按照范例练习书写，评出“小小书法家”。

Step 3 Practice

游戏——Listen and act（听音做动作）

叫一位学生到台前。

T: Listen to my orders. Turn left. Turn right. Turn around. Knock at the teacher’s desk. （老师示范）Knock at the window. Knock at the door.

叫两位学生到台前。

T: Turn left. Turn right. Turn around. Knock at the desk. Knock at the window. Knock at the door. Turn the handle. Open the door. Walk back to your seat.

叫三位学生到台前。

T: Turn left. Turn right. Turn around. Knock at the desk. Knock at the window. Knock at the door. Turn the handle. Close the door. Walk back to your seat.

听课文F部分录音，有节奏地朗读、表演。

Step 4 Consolidation

1、分组表演唱。

2、鼓励学生们大胆创设情景，自由会话。
