Aims

i.Get  students  to  grasp  imperative  sentence  “This is his/her…” and “That is his/her…”

ii.Encourage  the  studentsinterest  to  learn  English.

iii.Encourage  the  students  to  cooperate  with  each  other,  help  each  other  and  learn  from  each  other.

Focus

i.Help  students  grasp  the   words: her    bag    his    coat    their

ii.Help  students  grasp  the  key  sentences

“This is his/her…” and “That is his/her…”

iii.Enable  students  to  use  the  drills  fluently  and  correctly.

I.Warming up and Revision

  1. Greetings

Hello, boys and girls.

Nice to meet you.

 

  1. Play the tape recorder and review the chant. Teacher set an example first.

 

II.Leading-in

1Show some animals’ pictures and ask “What’s this?”

 

2let students find their own pet and try to speak “This is my…”

 

3today lets learn Module 3 Unit 1.

 

III.Listening & Reading Activities

1Ask the students open their booksthen play the tape.
